The Global Competition Law Centre (GCLC), of which I am the Director, has just released its Annual Report for 2004 (link at the end of this post). Our first year of existence has been very successful. We now have 32 sponsors, including major international firms, economic consultancies, and global corporations. Thanks to this financial support we have been able to organize two major international conferences, one in Bruges (June 2004) and one in London in cooperation with BT (December 2004) and seven lunch talks in Brussels on topical issues of competition law. We have also launched a website (www.gclc.coleurop.be) to which we have added a lot of competition law content and a working papers series. Finally, we are supporting two new competition law journals, the Journal of Competition Law and Economics (published by OUP, first issue released this month) and Revue Concurrences (published in French by Thomson Interactive).
