The American Antitrust Institute has investigated on Samuel Alito's (Bush's new nominee to the US Supreme Court) antitrust record. The research concludes that Judge Alito's is not "likely to be a supporter of antitrust enforcement". It seems, from the summary of cases given by the AAI, that Judge Alito is very much in favour of a restrictive interpretation of standing in antitrust claims. See here for more info on this point. See here for a biography of Judge Alito.
